What Training do we offer at FMT ?

  • Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - This is the basic certificate to enable a learner to ride on the road with L plates.

  • Preparation for your Full Licence - We have a set syllabus of training to prepare for whatever licence you wish to go for.  Details of the licences are covered in Road Training for Test.

  • Refresher Training - Long time since you rode, a days refresher training is less expensive than those repairs you may need if you've forgotten how to ride correctly.

  • Continuation Training - A more advanced level of riding skills and techniques, we can also arrange an observed ride with the West Yorkshire Motorcycle Police at the conclusion of your continuation training.

  • Motorcycles to Hire for Training - We can provide you with a bike for your training, this includes equipment and insurance. All our machine are UK specification and dealer serviced by Castle Motorcycles.

  • Motorcycle Insurance - Need motorcycle insurance for CBT, road training or just for yourself. See our useful links page for the top brokers they are very competitive, quote our reference number so they know you have come from FMT. Try them all, most are free phone or online they have different offers from the insurance companies.

  • Low Student to Instructor Ratio - Normally 2 - 1 ratio for both CBT and Road Training courses.

  • Male and Female Instructors - All instructors are DSA examined and qualified.
